Great looking buggy! Gin and Juice was my favorite so I can't wait to see this thing done. Fit and finish is awesome, keep it up.

Not much progress worth talking about but some blingin' parts have been showing up. The engine harness and computer came in and the exhaust finally came back from the coaters. Summit Machine also whipped me up some custom logo drive flanges. flashemifyougotem

PSI Conversions harness and a 99+ LS computer. I got them from Sho-Me Speed in Missouri and they reworked the harness for a flipped intake and also flashed and tuned the computer.

Never been a fan of the "jeep look" buggy's but you did a great job with this, nice clean lines and fab work. By the way a trail bouncer is a "Trouncer". thumb.gif

Laying the glass is the easy part. Building the form is what takes time. I used Ram Board, its just cardboard that comes on a roll at Lowes used for protecting flooring. Once you have the cardboard in place, completely cover it with masking tape, taking your time to do it neatly. Then apply Turtle Wax to the tape and let it dry. This keeps the resin from sticking to your form. Once the wax is dry, start laying out the mat and cover with resin. Easy as that. You don't have to use cardboard and tape, you can use anything, T'shirts, plastic wrap, etc. For small areas, florist foam works well because you can sand into shape with sandpaper.

Its just a cheap Flowmaster knock off. I had one before and liked the sound.

Worked on the skins again today and finally got to try out my Jeep logo stamp. It worked pretty good considering how its made. It took a little fine tuning with a burr and several test pieces but I think its gonna work pretty good.

Stamping work is quite cool! How'd you pull that off?

You can see my stamp in the shop press on the other page. Its just a crude three piece stamp made out of steel plate cut on a laser. You sandwich the sheet metal inside the plates, smash it and voila!

I swear every time i look at this build it makes me wonder why i even bother trying build rigs!!

Yeah, we'll get together once the rigs are finished. Are y'all from Monroe or West Monroe? I knew of some guys in WM and the Downsville area that had buggys but haven't heard anything from them in a long time.
