I found it. That guy needs to be found and dealt with accordingly.

ya in was up there last night when it happened and had to run most of the trail cause the search and rescue couldnt make it and then to find out today some **** was playing a joke.

:pissed:I say find him, fine him, and revoke his license. Then string him up at the entrance to Evan's as a warning to IDIOTS!!!:FIREdevil:

MOUNT RAINIER, Wash. -- A report of a missing man and car crash at Mount Rainier National Park was a hoax, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities were alerted to a report of a cell phone call from a man who said he had crashed his car in the Evans Creek off-road vehicle park on Sunday afternoon.

Crews were sent out to search the area Sunday night, but found nothing.

The Pierce County sheriff's office said the incident was a hoax and that no one was missing.

because then the news would look stupid for running with the story, which makes them less trustworthy. haha the dumbing of america continues.

if they can find the guys they should charge him financially and criminally. stealing county money wasted on a needless search. probably a tweaker masterminding a diversion while stealing aluminum and stainless off the police station. :cheer::masturbanana[1]::eeek:

I hate that you know me so well.....:eeek:

The guy got in a fight with his wife then went for a drive in his 2wd Ranger, got a flat tire on a gravel road and called his wife with a fake story hoping she would bring him a spare tire. She called the police with the fake story he told her.

I bet that made the relationship even better :haha:-----Karma...

i was up there sunday w/ a big group, i'm so glad the rescue crew said they didn't need help..... I'd be really pissed if i was out there all night searching with them. They told us it was a rollover and people were trapped in the cab, they were loading up the jaws o life when we headed out.
I'll have to say very good response by fire/ems Its reassuring to know if something legit did happen to any of us a small army would be dispatched

i also ran into fire/ems on my way out of Evans on Sunday, on the way down the gravel we must have been passed by 5-6 different ems vehicles. we stopped at their staging area, and offered my rig and a couple of buddies rigs to get ems to the scene, but they told us they had it covered. they definitely had one hell of a response i was impressed.

:awesomework: to the fire and EMS in that area
