I wonder if our batteries are the same :eeek:

as funny as this sounds.. its a valid question.. yes they are.. BUT.

some places in japan work on 110VAC 50 hz.
this means, that digital clocks from the US loose 10 min per hour.

I was really late for work once.

I think he means mine and his lap top batteries. Although when I first read it, I thought he meant batteries for something else lol

That's a good fact to know. I wont be bringing a clock, but I never knew that.

Your laptop has a clock in it.....:haha:

But you might ask Comet about power supplies for 110 to charge your laptop.....:;

ok smart ass, I shall rephrase that. I'm not bringing a clock that will need to wake me up.:fawkdancesmiley:

One of the things I did the last time to Hawaii is start taking an antihistamine about a week before. I have had problems in the past with my allergies and ears clearing on my second flight. It was better being medicated. Just me, and if it's just one flight I don't have a problem.

So, exactly when is it that you're leaving and how long will you be gone?:booo:

I'm jealous... :bbaby:

Oh, and you better learn to eat with chop sticks or you'll go hungry! :haha:

If it's big, I can do it.. If it's rice, I'll need practice, unless it's the sticky rice. :haha: Remember though, no sneaking weird animals or seafood onto my plate. :redneck:

Look at your laptop power supply I BET MONEY it says 100-240V.

Most electronics these days will work anywhere, just get a plug adaptor. 99.9% you will not need any time of voltage converter / transformer.

I have never had to worry for a computer.

Wow. I bet you are ALL kinds of excited! I'm happy for you that you have this opportunity! :cheer:

And I know I don't EVEN have to ask to bring back lots of pics! I can't wait to see them! :pinkie:

I am very excited. I'm also really nervous with the layovers too. There are two of them.

I wasn't too worried once I got there. I was just thinking for the plane. Even more so now that I have my itinerary. Flight out is a 16 hour day. 12 hours for flying, 4 for layovers.
I've been looking up batteries and I will most likely get at least another one. Heck for a 16 hour day I might need 10 though :haha:

Thats a short flight..lol

I Feel for ya, i have done many of those.. Not fun.

A recommondation.. spend a few bucks (actually more than a few cause they are expensive) and get yourself a set of Noise canceling head phones.

the constand shshshshshshshshshshshsh that you hear on a plane magically diapears. I just got a set about 2 years ago and oh my god.. they are SO nice.. heck, put them on without plugging them in and take a nap. makes the plane much more quiet.

Which reminds me... I will take my prescription for my insomnia issues with me. But on planes, I'm used to taking a motion sickness pill before I leave. It leaves my tummy much happier when I've landed. So what are the rules for these?
I know you can take prescriptions if they are in the original bottle from your Dr and possibly a note (have to reread up on that) but I forgot to check on non prescriptions.

So now that I have the Itinerary I know which airports I'm going to.

Seattle to Tokyo to Sendai to Nagoya

Then home is

Nagoya to Fukuoka to Tokyo to Seattle

Way home is close to 16 hours too But way home is like losing a day. Pretty funn. I leave there at 10am the 26th and get home at 9:30 am the 26th lol

I don't think it will be an issue.
I took Yellow fever meds on the plane and they even put in on dry ice for me.

They understand Dramamine and motion sickness

Just make sure your sitting as far forward in the plane as possible.

You should be able to go to the web site and pic the seats you want.. Even if they are already confirmed.

Yeah I just signed in and saw "Upgrade to premier lines for $39.00":haha: If I'm looking at the seating right, it's like 9 seats across.. :eeek: That's a big ass plane. Only thing open is pretty close to the back.

Pay the extra 150 bucks and get "Economy Plus".. More legroom and depending on the plane, your own TV screan.

but without knowing which airline and such, i can't be 100% sure.

I found a web site that tells you the "good seats" onboard the boeing 777 One of the seats says "power port ,this seat has a little extra legroom (not something I need, I'm short lol) as this is where the fusealage begings to taper, Underseat space is limited because of the entertainment box" Something about sitting on a fusealage just makes me feel all warm and gooey inside lol

It's one of the few window seats left besides the one in front of it.

Row 33 is the closest to the front I could get and that's a middle row end. I always worry about these seats if I fall asleep that I'll end up in my neighbors lap

Only window seats are row 39 and 40

The row 4o one with the fusealage says DC power and personal tv. but most of the seats say personal tv. The others say no power though.

777, more leg room, and personal TV.. go for it. (economy plus)

and window seats are not all they are cracked up to be.. when you gotta pee, you gotta crawl over people.. I personally like aisle seats. because i can stick my leg out in the walk way to stretch.

I'm 4'11. I rarely need to stretch out. :redneck: But yeah I was looking at the wrong plane map. LOL Way home, all thats left is one right by the toilet or farther up front but says limited leg room due to entertainment box. The one by the toilet says extra space behind seat for storage and I almost always have my carry on under the seat since I can't reach the overheads :redneck: So I may be stuck by the ****ter :haha:
