Fix spun HP60 housing?

This weekend I somehow managed to spin the my front axle housing on the long side. Broke the rosette welds on that side and it twisted the housing down.


What's the best way to go about fixing it? Just get it all back straight and mig the rosettes back?

I would say straighten back up, properly weld the tube all the way around to the center section then build or buy a truss that ties the center section and tubes into one.

You can get a big ass pipe wrench 4' long or so and a floor jack to get it back straight most of the time!

Weld the tubes after u get the tube straightened use er80 mig wire it welds nice cast to mild steel r use 308 stainless wire n the mig with try gas makes a real nice weld but bad fumes
