ford 302/289

so how much differant are the bell housing, from the 302 to a 289. We just tore down a windmachine and it has a good running 289 that is run on propaneawesomework So i wanna put it in my wheeler and it has the ax15 trans aa make an adapter for the 302 so i just wanned to know if it would work. thanks

260/289/302/351W/351C all take the same bellhousing

352/360/390/428 are all FE motors and take the same bellhousing

351M/400M/429/460 all take the same bellhousing

No, it's an FE series big block. FEs are all the same block, just different bore/stroke.

332, 352, 360, 390, 406, 410, 427, 428.
