fuel cell foam break down?

mine broke down right where you fill at, took about a year.no stabilizer?

I ran foam for several years no issues until I did some engine work which required I run fuel additive. Foam broke down and clogged it up first time I drove it. There are different kinds of foam too which I'm sure makes a difference. Best thing to do is get rid of the foam then it can't screw you.

From what mine looks like, the filter flapper bolt gets to rubbing the foam when on the trails

Racers run it for years and have no problems. Its fine with race gas.

Its the additives they put in pump gas that breaks it down.
