The fuel gage reads on E although I am pretty sure there is at least half a tank in it.

I've looked around on the Internet for solutions and it seems it could be the fuel level sending unit inside the tank.

If that is the case, what's the easiest--removing the bed or dropping the tank? I might wait til summer to fix this if the local mechanic wants a lot to fix this. I'd do it at my folks place with my brother helping.

Thanks for any help.

 Its not that hard to drop the tank. Use a floor jack and it takes 10 minutes. Then pull out the sender and see whats going on. It's not that hard. I'm sure you can figure it out.

your hired!!:cheer:

it gives 1.8 hrs to R&R the tank.
and 2.0 hrs to R&R the pump.

it doesnt list the sending unit, im pretty sure theyre separate. but id imagine 2.0 hrs also.

run it as low on fuel as you can, it will make the job that much easier.
