Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

All I can say about tires for KOH race is "Goodyear MTR Stickies" :awesomework:

here's a couple pics Larry. This was LCQ. You were flying in these pics. Kinda hard to see the car. All I got though.

Another good video that was just posted from our pre race attempt at backdoor. This is what was SUPPOSED to happen in the race and why I drove the way I did. I will make sure to follow through however I do it in practice next time. Just goes to show how tough backdoor can be if you make a mistake. You could drive that thing 50 times and the 51st time end up upside down and broken.

I payed ful price for my 44 pbr's and they HANDS DOWN are the best tire i have ever run. Realize, Ive never driven a rig on stickies.

Larry, I got a good starting vid of you in the lcq. Im dl'ing it first as it is probably the most badass video i got the entire time i was there. You were straight mobbin

your thread is calling you :rolleyes:... Rather than bragging of how good you where doing concentrate on where YOU actually ended up and why... In an actual race you where never even qualified to get into.... Technically like everyone on the starting line you are all tied for first... you might as well tell people your where running first when you took off and make a big deal of that.... the reality is the "finish" spot.... which was???? what happend inbetween does notmatter.... oh yeah DNF... and in reality you had a DNQ also... :awesomework: way to represent bud. 3 years in a row.. Nice.. what are you going to do next year if the make the corse longer? I mean your getting closer. I figure by next year you find some way to get ino the race you should be able to get 130 miles but most likely they will make the course 150.. big plans for the next season? lots of practice of photo opps with your rig and dog looking like a racer? Internet talking about racing? Going to shows and woozing sponsors?.. I always thought a racer finished sometimes. aparently it's about making yourself look cool... I always thought a racer is something you where...aparently it is a part you can now act...:rolleyes: sorry to clutter your thread with honesty...

Dont speak on my behalf. My old tsl 44's sucked. Just like your sx's when compared to a rocker.

As to not continue with the hijack of this thread, but to continue on with Mark, Mike and Joe's conversation, I will integrate Larry and his KOH tires into it. :redneck:

Hey Larry, what size tire do you run and do you know of any used PBR Stickies for sale? :;

Pitbull does not make a stickie tire, and in conversations with them have no immediate plans to do so.
Larry runs the 42x15x17

In a few months they will be for sale, As well as 5 allied rock-a-thon 6 on 5.5 x 10 beadlocks.

The 37's are the only lame pbr's out there, The measure under 36" when new.

yea but try to fit 44s on my toy!! didnt work out guy sold them anyway..

In the pre run day before we had like 11lbs and race day just like the guys in the video stated we had aired them up to 17lbs for the desert stuff. Now I wish we had not done that because it took me 6 times to get up back door instead of 2. Oh well live and learn. You need more for the big race with how much desert there is however. Low tire pressure and it drastically effects the handling. Its a balance and depends on your suspension and tires. I saw lots of flat BFG tires I know that.. even still the top `10 rigs were running them I think.

What plans do you have for your engine? Its showing that its getting tired.

Tired is an understatement. Did you read the part of the story where we did rod bearings in the engine the night before KOH?? It has been running rich all summer and takes $$ or a programmer to reflash my ecu to lean it out. The smoke you see is mainly fuel richness. The engine will be rebuilt when I get the funds to do so.
