Glacier National Park

Yeah I have not spent much time out there, but Jackson Hole and Seattle were both tons of fun. I love that area of the country. We want to do some traveling prior to kids, but I actually think Glacier would be more fun with some kids around. I think we are going to put our money towards a big tour of Europe next Spring and maybe try this trip again next Sept. I love being in the mountains, especially big sky territory out west.

Give the dollar some time to recoup itself after the media stops running down our country and the Europe trip will be much more affordable.

When I lived in Germany in the early 90's the dollar was 2:1 to the Mark....it was great. Not so great v the Euro these days.

Yeah I actually heard some positive spin on that today on Fox News, things seem to be turning around. Fawking media. Then again gas starts going down and Russia attacks Georgia with a huge pipeline running right through the area

If you want to know great places in Europe ask me. I just recently got back from living over there.

Wngrg, where were you in Germany? Do you speak German?

X2 on what Wngrg said on waiting a little...the exhange is better than when I was there, but it hasn't gotten much better in the past few months.

The wife and I did a Europe trip in April.
3 days in Aberdeen, Scotland(wedding), then a day in Amsterdam, then 4 days in Paris. Cheapest vacation we have ever had!
Flights were done fully on miles, all but 2 nights in Aberdeen we stayed on points. Hilton hooked us up in Paris with executive lounge access, so that was breakfast, lunch and snacks. Then we paid for big dinners each night.
Air France gave us $500 Euro for bumping us on a flight. And I made decent dough gambling in Aberdeen.

Exchange rate sucked ass. Buying $8US Cokes sucked! We brought back nearly zero souviners, they were just to expensive. We're talking $40US t-shirts, fawk that.

I still want to go back to the Med. I loved Italy, I want to do Montenegro after seeing Bond's "Casino Royale", French Riviera for some topless beaches! pepper.gif

The Euro is just way over inflated, the basis between the USD and Euro is going to collapse. Just wait for that Eurocation, I know when we were over there there was a lot of discussion in the media over lost tourism revenue due to the parody of the Euro over everything else.

The French Riviera is pretty cool, but can be a little uncomfortable at times.

Lots of older folks peruzing.... If you can deal with some sagginess every once and a while then your good!
