Don't blame Lamar. He, the Goop guy, and Rich (or whatever name he was using at the moment) are all characters, but, didn't really provide any useful input.

Builds kinda fell off once the pic posting process got more involved.

Caption this pics fell off.

Photo chopped pics of funny and offensive stuff went away.

And the reiter situation divided allot of folks.

Things change, times change.


Many of the people that provided interesting content and entertainment have left or been run off.

The drama queens have gone away too.

Just dropped in to say howdy and saw this. It's your site and your choice. I appreciate all you've done here Mike. If the cost is the only issue, I'm in for a donation. I don't have a Facebook life, and forums are withering without member support. Web wheeling is getting harder to do, so I suppose I'll have to gas up the pig and hit the trails more.

I didn't see the part about the good news. Can you strip the site down to thumbnail pics and text and run it for free on a server in your house? keep it as a place for peeps to meet up and have some community?

I hear ya. I can't stand fb. This forum was and still is awesome. I'd like to say people will see the light and switch back but I'm not so sure.

I always buy a star (don't always get my sweet sticker lol) but I always buy. This place was glorious back before Facebook got so big and started adding more and more features. I personally like the Facebook groups and pages. Hell of a page The man bunker we could run something like that....I'm down to buy another star if it helps also.
