I just got me a hero, and trying to find the best location to mount in on my bike(non motorized). I tryed it on the handle bars, but you can't see the wheel and theres alot of quick movements. I like the seat post area, you can see the handle bars and the front wheel and it gives you an idea of shock travel over bumps. The only thing with the seat post is you can see my legs too much, kind of distracting.I'm thinking I may have to get a roll bar mount so I can move it forward on my middle bar. Any thoughts or ideas?

Hows the video from that angle? I was thinking the same area as the top, but I like the bottom one also. I'll be trying my mounts here in about 30 minutes, and try and post up some video as soon as I get it loaded.

I just finished about three miles with it mounted to the seat post. The view is ok , but not great. The lighting was pretty bad when I was in the thicker woods. Can I use lights to brighten that up or does another setting work better. Or do I just need to ride when there is more day light. I also caught a decent little spill, when I came off a drop onto some slick rock. It showed me coming off the bike and sliding down toward the water, pretty cool.

So the chest mount works good. I'll have to get me one. I am also going to try the other locations that B Gillespie posted and see how they turn out. These little cameras are pretty awsome.

No idea if what I posted actually works.
I mounted mine just below the stem and it was worked ok, but caught alot of the brake lines in the way. I also mounted it about half way down on the lower bar. I liked it better because you could see the shock working and the whole front tire, but it blocked alot of the trail view.
I think I may try the side of the helmet and definitly the chest mount. both of those looked pretty good going by the videos online.

Hows this angle? I am going to try the helmet mount this evening and I have it set to the slow mo setting.

For helmet mounts. I ride with a full face so I put it on the side pointing down the visor. Makes for a killer shot!

Just finished editing my first video. I tryed Movie maker and it kept messing up. I found AVS video editor and down loaded it for free to try it out. It did pretty good, but was alittle harder to work with than the Movie Maker .
