I'm making my little yoda truggy road worthy..they told me here in Alabama mine was ok as long as it had headlights and taillights..a brake light..one rear view mirror tag and insurance.. but I did ask some of my police buddy the same question and they said the same but it also needed wipers... but I said " it has no windshield " lol they said it better have at least a wiper.. some crazy old rule on the books they found.. also hand turn single is still allowed to be use here so I didn't haft to worry about binkers

I drive this on the street. 87 samurai 27" stretch total. Louisiana is pretty lax but the only thing I think will bother them is the entire 14.5" wide tire is outside the fender. Only been stopped once and was asked what is it? When I do drive on the street I always have my doors on so it looks more like a complete vehicle.
