Hubs locked on dry streets

I leave my hubs locked on my toyota almost year round and only unlock them if I'm gonna get on the freeway.

I have replaced alot of Ford Superduty hubs that quit working for no apparent reason. Warn Premiums are the way to go.

I work at the fire department and we drive a 2006 Ford F350 aid car.

I work part time at an agency with 2003 and 2006 F-450 Medics, and we turn them in and out as we need. I guess I wonder about making it a Policy. I guess if they are a failure item, then you are better off with them stuck in Lock... We have 164K on the '03, haven't had a problem with the hubs.

Of course, we've been in 4wd all the time for 10 days, now. It's been 3 days since even the state highway has been bare.
