Hydraulic hose question

So looking for some simple info on hydraulic hoses which actually will be used for my nitrogen setup.

So the ends of the hose will be 1/4"npt. What size hose should I use or is there a standard for fitting to hose size?

14" npt is probably overkill

Parker 43 series fittings shows the 3/4-14 npt only available in 3/4" hose.

Parker 10143-4-4 is a 1/4" male npt for 1/4" hose.
11343-4-4 is a 1/4" male npt swivel for 1/4" hose.

ive used russel -3 steel braided brake line in bulk and get the reusable ends to make my nitrogen dual fill set up,, only reason i used it was cause i had most of the **** laying around
