Hydraulic steering just quit

I have a single ended ram with a big cooler. I have a hose ext. On the res. I've never had a problem I figured they was just trying to sell me more than I needed

This has got me to thinking that I need to get a spare. I would hate to be 500 miles away on a 3 day run and have it break on the first day.
