hydro assist

does anyone know the drill depth on tapping the steering box(toy)for hydro. I would assume at least deep enough for the fittings, but you know what they say about ASS-U-ME ING :looser: the trail gear instructions are ok but arent specific enough on this matter, and i know its important.

look on the marlin board, under hydro assist on the cheap, great info about where to drill and how deep to drill to hit the vain.

One tapped hole goes into a port that doesnt allow the tap to go deep enuf, So you may have to grind the tap back a bit. Then again this was on sarg's box so it was all messed up.

The hole in the top of the box is around 3/8 - 1/2" deep, just drill, stop and check for the vein, drill some more, stop, check, etc.
