hydro steering question

Anyone using a stock power steering pump with full hydro steering?

If so, does it work good, any problem with blowing seals in the pump, any pressure issues etc...?

Any modifications to the stock pump?

Better to just buy a 1500 series pump from PSC?

I ran a stock pump on my dodge 360 with full hydro no issues..

I've ran a stock pump with dodge 360 and 318, and currently using a stock pump with chevy TB350... no problems no mods, just ran a small cooler.

Im running a single ended ram and it seems a little weak on the pull stroke. Is this a common thing

It will be weaker pulling as there is less piston area to push on on that side.
