I always thought BYS...

Trail of Doom and Rhino land are old roads?:eeek: what about cable trail?

Um no.......every trail but the Lake Isabel trail and The Wall trail are "user built". The power lines are just that and the access (logging) roads are just that as well.

I do wonder where the next sign will be?:corn:

Yup, There was a time when Isabelle and The Wall trail were it. I remember when the idea of the area becoming an "official ORV area" was going around, the htought was, well build as many trails as we can because we won't be able to do it anymore once the area becomes, "official".

Isn't it funny how they put "Not a Trail" signs at the exit but not the entrance?

If we can look at the upside.....they (the DNR) want us to bypass the original ending route and drop down the big rock on the optional (now, the correct) route.

I'm ok with that.......:awesomework:

I'm ok with that but I think the original route was harder.
Hey there's a big hole in the the ground along BYS so maybe it was a mining road at one time:D Ya thats it.

I just found out about the signs last night at the RTW meeting. I will have to contact them and see WTF is up with that... Makes no sense....

When I was there looking around, I didn't see any obvious route out over the rock in my first pic below (above), I'll have to take a closer look for that next time I'm up there.

So why doesnt somebody take one of the DNR LEO's up for a run and explain to them how the trail starts and ends... *****ing about it isnt gunna get anything done...

There should be 2 or 3 people on here that can take Kim or her co-worker along with them and explain how the trails go.. Crash, Kat, ??? somebody with good responsible wheeling ethics and can make a safe trip for them..(this is where a buggy guy jumps in)...just a thought...:awesomework:

I'm not sure who's *****ing......:eeek: But they put the sign there, so I'm sure they know where it is and how the trail works.:;

We'll make due.:awesomework:

Unless they're just seeing the tracks up onto the ridge and thinking that's all that's going on there. But ya, one way or t'other... :redneck:
