****ing basement flooded again. Got back on my Mac---which I haven't touched for almost a month since we ripped the carpet outta the basement and been attacking the moisture.

...so I get down there last night to edit some footage for another production company and my VTR won't work (video tape recorder)... so I can't playback footage to capture onto my harddrive.... The friggin power box thing(middle of cord) is sitting in a puddle of water. GREAT.

Does water ruin those things or can I just let it dry out?
