Not starting drama so no one start ripping me a new one. I started my morning ritual with coffee and hardline after the morning safety meeting and noticed the Funny Meme thread locked. Can a new one be started or it this an off topic for now? Not sure why it was locked and not asking, the powers that be saw it fit to lock and that is good enough for me. I just hope another one can be started because I do enjoy seeing what people come up with.

It was locked because some continued to post bad stuff, mainly 5BrothersFabrication. That guy truly does not know what funny is. Warped. Perhaps sometime in the future, but not now. Thought about locking the thread or banning him, decided on the thread.

I wasn't real fond of the small children memes. Couldn't look at it. Kids can't help their situation.

The thing to remember here folks is that there are a LOT of people on here and each have their own metaphorical line drawn on what's too far. While I agree that some of that stuff was over most people's personal line, a pic of a dude getting road head with his hand shoved most of the way up a chicks vag may be offensive to others. The whole premise behind a meme is borderline inappropriate satire. Maybe if we promise to keep it safe for work and John cleans up some of the really offensive stuff, just maybe he will unlock it and let us keep it. Who knows. :dunno:

We really should keep that thread safe for work. Im just glad I didn't open it at work and see the road head one. That one could get me in real trouble. The others are just ****ed up but not pornographic. Let's use some sense guys.

When it started it was no dicks or penetration on the forums. I agree stuff must change as it grows. I have a weird view of stuff because there is no such thing as "work safe", I own my own business laughing1 While I found some of the stuff he posted over the line and chose to scroll past it, then go back to see who posted it, then shake my head as I hoped it wasn't someone I liked, then scroll down to the next post, I remember that he's free to say (post) it and I'm free to have whatever reaction I want, but that reaction shouldn't be to blow up. I can simply choose to not tune in. Maybe say something privately. Censorship is bad for the most part, but there are common (I hope) sense lines. As stated, we all have different lines as we all have different sets of experiences. Maybe I'm defending the guy pushing the line more now because everyone is an overly sensitive ***** in society now and feel like they have the "right" to try and take away my freedom to say what I want because they are offended. Exactly the opposite of what our bill of rights says. That is the right to do so in this country. Now, to do so here, obviously there are rules and moderators for a reason. Just because we can (Say whatever tasteless **** we want in public) doesn't mean we should. That is where your personal line of morality is supposed to keep you from doing **** that is "wrong". Dunno, just rambling I guess.

Nah your on point. If i said even half the **** I thought of (same warped sense of humor as 5 bros here) y'all prob would try to get me help... Haha. So I just don't post it.. I actually learned a year or so ago by making a comment, that was really funny.. To me and everyone else.. EXCEPT one person.. Who is now one person I would absolutely drop anything at anytime, and haul ass to the other side of Alabama for. I have stuck my foot in my mouth a lot.. But I still think about how bad I prob hurt him by my comment, and still plan on tellin him how sorry I am for being a moron, when the times right. He may not even remember, I'm sure he does.. But it still bothers me I said Wat I said. Never know Wat someone else is dealing with .... I learned ALOT from making that comment. :****: just glad he don't hold grudges, good guys like the fella I'm talking about are very rare to have as close friends... Just something to think about..

Do you really get a lot of people that report things to the moderator? I assumed that it would be very few and far between.

15-30 a week. Sometimes more if there is drama going on. Many in the For Sale sections. If I lock a for sale thread, you can bet it was turned in as I don't look there much. Gets real funny if both sides whine at once!!!
