impco 300

Anybody tell me what size engine/ hp the impco 300 series mixer is good for
Got one in on a trade....I dont know anything about them. Thanks

There are two versions of the 300 mixer, 300A-1,20 and the 300-50,70 larger size. The larger one is the one most often used. The smaller one will supply enough air and fuel for a 4 cylinder or small V6 engine. We have used the larger one on a lot of V8's and they work well. One thing about 300's is they never wear out.

Its a 300A. Will it work good on an old cj inline 6?

It will work well. The only disadvantage of a 300 mixer is the limited choices of air filter assemblies you can run on it. One of the advantages though is the low profile in case there is a hood clearance issue.
