Caught my first steelhead on the Sky. Up river from the Ben Howard boat launch, where the two forks come back together. We used to launch the sled at Ben Howard and motor up to that drift. Miss fishing that stretch of river. :booo:

damn thats alot of steal head:masturbanana[1]: anyone fishing from the shore with good luck? i have been wanting to get out in the river but it seams way to high at the moment:eeek:

unfortunately all the local rivers are closed right now, have to wait for June when the rivers open back up. Can't even fish for sturgeon or trout in the sloughs, they have them closed completely this year.

The Columbia is expecting the largest Spring Chinook run since the 1930's I am seriously thinking of heading down there :awesomework:

The 40 a native?
Whats the rules up there? No natives can be kept here. In the rivers that I know of anyway.

Some rivers you can keep 1 native per year, you have to read the regs as they are all different.
