Back to Vancouver soon...
I am in the market for a couple propane tanks for my build. I've seen used aluminum tanks on ebay for $85 shipped, but wanted to check locally first.

Also, how important are the dates if my 4 truggy will most likely be licensed as an offroad vehicle and not street legal??

I never had any problems getting my tanks filled even though the dates were out of cert. I did have one really old tank re-valved and certed. I believe the propane place only charged me like 25 bucks to do it.

I have an old forklift tank for $20. Holds about as much as most BBQ tanks. Maybe a bit more. Not sure how much fuel is left in it. We used it to heat our apartment during the power outage (6 days) and it wasn't yet empty.
