Ls dbw pedal mod?

My pedal looks like this. There is no way it will work in the configuration in a suzuki samuria.I was thinking about cutting the pedal height adjuster off of it and the weld the pedal to the bottom where most of the aftermarket ones are. Has anyone done this?

Make it look like this one. Hope it will work or I wasted 100$ buying this pedal like a dumbass.

I cut them all the time. I've never had any issues from welding on them.

You happen to have any pics of one's you have done? I imagine you remove the electronics before you weld.

Ill have to take some for you. I don't remove the potentiometer to modify. Just make sure it is unplugged from the TAC module. You can change it how you need to. Just leave the upper section alone and try to keep the heat away from your electronics.

Here's one I modified for my single seater because I needed a floor mount pedal. I haven't ran it yet, but I don't think it will be a problem. I just did the tack, tack, tack weld slowly to keep the heat down.
