Memorial Day

YAKIMA – Continued cold temperatures, additional snow accumulations, and snow drifts as deep as forty feet, could delay the opening of Chinook Pass until after Memorial Day weekend.

You have been up the 3100 road, past the Barber Springs Road? Have you made it up to Manastash Camp? It doesn't look like actual Forest Service land starts until quite a bit past the Barber turn off. MAP

Has anyone got ahold of Mikki Douglas today with the Cle Elum Ranger District ORV dept? I've called all day with no answere regarding Manastash, however it sounds like she just had surgery and is working fewer hours... :corn:
 
EDIT: I like Memorial Day. I like wheeling on Memorial Day. I have wheeling plans for Memorial Day

just got off the phone with mike westbay he said 410 will most not likely be open for memorial day weekend. looks like end of the month......
 
i talked to my friend at jacks over there yesterday...he said the snow line is right about milk pond....that doesnt leave much for wheelin over there till the snow melts...
