Mercruiser parts

Hoping someone on here has a hook up for some boat parts. I'm needing the upper unit gears and rebuild kit for mercruiser alpha gen 1 outdrive. 4cly. It's the 1.98:1 ratio.

I was gonna say, the Internet is your hook up. Lol

Most all of my marine parts have come out of Florida. Whether it be drive unit, engine parts or exterior fiberglass attachments

Another option is you can craigslist in your area and find guys that are sitting on complete garbage in their back yards with a drive unit sitting on the ground, I found you can pick up the whole unit dirt cheap when they are trying to sell something else in the picture

SEI will get you back on the water faster and cheaper than any other solution. Their parts are so-so, but the have a good warranty and they honor it. Check with Lanier Marine Salvage in Dawsonville Ga if you want to go back used oem. If you don't have the shim tools, you're better off getting a complete upper than buying the tools and building an upper

Thanks guys. I found and ordered a upper unit rebuild kit. Should be back on the water next weekend.
