Mojave heater in xp anybody?

Picked up a mojave heater from a local shop gonna put it in my '12 xp. Just wondering if anybody out there had done one and had any suggestions. Any help would be nice.

Yeah I have the same one just haven't had a chance to talk to Ed about how he did his yet

Are these heaters waterproof? I would think mounting one in an open vehicle would wreak havoc on one if its not.
