That little log drop was meant to be hit at about 30.......It's all I can do to not blast it on the XC bike:redneck: The cheapy BB and crank arms would fail quicker than Palin in the oval office:D

Well, Pat might want to invest in some longer bars.....looks like he stole his little sister's bike! :; :haha: :haha:

Owwwwwch! Agreed, but ouch. :)

He is buying something "real" this winter. He's new to riding, so one step at a time. These pictures were taken a few months ago and you are riding on the North side. If you think the North side is "wet" you should put on your boggers and head to the South side. The south is almost un-ridable in many places for six months out of the year.

I ride a bike with a fat, semi-green tire:

When you say left, you mean the South side I believe. Is this correct?

If so, you really need to try the North side, it is much drier (perhaps, thanks to the Sun and / or better drainage). The trails are not anywhere near as muddy and there is one rippin fun trail that leads down the ridgeline. It has berms, open grasslands, tight forest and some pretty steep uphill sections (steep for someone on a 50lbs bike anyways).

Here are some pics of the North-sided trail, name unknown:

Now thats what I'm longing for.....single track

Should be some sweet singletrak, snow free over on the east side of the state.

At least Japanese Gultch is large enough to have fun at.

I'm not trying to harsh his mellow..... I started on a rigid Trek that weighs about 30+ pounds, with none of the love that a proper heavy bike has to offer :; . As long as he's ridin' it's all good!! :cheer:

Man, PERFECT riding weather this afternoon..... hit up St. Ed's for a little over an hour...sigh. I'd better enjoy it while it lasts, or until I move to Cle Ellum! :redneck: (better yet, MOAB!! :awesomework: )

no:booo: I was packing for this weekend's camping trip, and masterbating on my new drivelines:masturbanana[1]:

Nah, he gayed up and hit Capitol Hill. I think he will straighten out and ride next week. I might be able to do other days here soon, but as you know I have some personal matters to attend too first.
