I'm building a new 2x4x.188 frame for the LJ buggy build, I'm at the point that I don't know if stock body mounts should be used.. Considering running 5x5 plate and 4x4 plate on top. Would be about 6 of these (2 by the feet, 2 behind and 2 at the back)

I'd think this would be plenty tough to build a cage off of? could even make the 5x5 plate solid mount (poly bushings) to the frame for some isolation?

Should be way stronger than factory anyways.

looking for the best way possible. tub is about 150lbs very tops.

I've seen guys cut their rec tube at an angle and use it for their body mounts off their frame. I think if you have plates that big where the body mounts are and plates the same size for your cage to tie into you would be fine.

Mount that **** up soilid. Why would you need rubber or poly mounts for a 150 pound tub. Burn that **** on soild.

6 bolts is plenty to mount the body. You won't be mounting the cage to the body it needs to go straight to the frame.
