i paid $1300.00 i will take $500 even throw in some stove pipe.

Along the same topic.. But a derail...

I recently scored a nice 2 door wood stove with a blower.
Is there any modifications that need to be made to burn a mixture of wood and coal in them?
Will it entirely screw it up, or just pour it to it. Clog it up, etc???

Not planning on burning straight coal, but a few scoops on top of some already going hardwood would be nice...

Overfiring a wood stove is not good. Coal stoves also have a shaker grate to get the clinkers out. Coal burns almost twice as hot as wood. Coal stoves are firebrick lined, some wood stoves are not.

Plus, the **** stinks, I would not want to be your neighbor.
