We still have power here and the wind is just a howling. We're ready to go in case we do lose power though.
 
Lost power here and I think the feed to the hot water heater is starting to freeze due to the wind :mad:
 
just got up to Bellingham. Snowing pretty good here now, and really f'in cold.. about 20F outside.

To make matters worse, my furnace's exahust port is clogged with frozen condensation. I'm shining shop lights and hair dryers to help soften it up.

get a light in there and tape around the access door. Not a heat lamp, just a 120w bulb, sometimes that is all it takes. :awesomework:

We have power, on the 4th bottle of wine and I just BBQ'd ribeyes on the charcoal weber... Life is good. F--k winter storm 2008!:D
 
Snowing like a mother here. Got a big pot of Chili and a bottle of Rum..... Think I'll see if I can write my name in the snow from the second story window. :D
 
just measured.. about an inch more of snow in B'ham... got a call from a co-worker in North bend and another in Snoqualmie. Both lost power around 9:15.
 
I got about a foot, and the winds started to pick up. got cold urban wheelin so I'm in for the night.
 
still have power, but my grandma gave us our Christmas present early, a generator that should be enough to keep our fridge, and some tv, and the electric fence, and maybe the computer going, no worries on food, so we are set, and it isnt hardly blowing at all here, but still snowing
 
I had frozen pipes Monday and Tuesday...

The power went out for a little while Tuesday...

Thursday morning the stop valve on the toilet in the hall bathroom broke off and flooded the bathroom, hallway, laundry room and master bath...

I'm hoping that nothing else happens over here for a bit...

That snow had better pick up later tonight, damnit. So far it's been underwhelming to say the least. We'll see what tomorrow holds... either way, I'm going snow wheeling. :redneck:
 
Wow, the coldness just won't let go of you guys. Stay safe and warm and drive carefully. You don't want to know what the weather is like where I'm at. :D
