We ended up with about 11 inches here. My sister is suppose to fly in from New York today but at this point i doubt we will see her until tomorrow :(

I really hope it doesnt warm up real fast otherwise huge flooding problems, we would be better off if it just stayed cold right now. Starting to melt here though which will be an even bigger mess in the morning because its suppose to get cold again tonight

Well what a time--the storm was pretty nuts. Lots of snow drifts.

We lost power, lost our generator---got lucky and jason/kelly let us borrow theres.

Had the water pipes freeze and burst on us. Got the pipe fixed and finnally got water flow around 3am......

And cable just came back :awesomework:

Nope. All sorts of flights are cancelled down here. I have 16" on my back porch, had 12" Friday, and 8" of new on my rig over the weekend, so it's getting consolidated, too. But I'm at 750' and away from the Columbia Gorge about 25 miles, and PDX is around 100'. It was a long work weekend for me, fixing chains every day since Thursday, emergency calls and such.

News this morning said seatac was open but many flights were delayed.

Our power flickered a few times but never went out.

Our pipes froze the other day. So I put a heater in the garage.

The martha focking garage door froze shut saturday morning. That was a big PITA cause we wanted to go wheeling.

I got up this morning "knowing" that I had about an hour left of shoveling to completely clear my driveway. I went outside and found 6" of new snow.

So 2 hours 45 minutes later of concentrated shoveling and the drive was completely clear.

My neighbor went outside to chain up his older 2WD Mazda P/U (the Porsche Boxster is in the garage for the winter). He found that one of the rear tires of flat.:booo: :booo: The spare was in the stock location hanging under the bed. Needless to say, his morning wasn't going well. Luckily for me, he had finished changing the tire and was chaining up when I came out. Besides, he is probably 25 years younger than I am.
