I took it for a drive yesterday and all I can say is that it is different. Power gets to the ground quicker and the truck goes sidways way to easy now. But all in all it drives like it has a shift kit.

So will your GMC finally be able to keep up with the dodge when towing? I was doing 65 the entire way to Moab; you were going a little slower. :fawkdancesmiley:

Seriously what power level do you think you will be able to tow at now before your EGTs start to get too high?

1,2,or 3 rigs?

The upgrades are more so I can play harder. Karl wants to buy my current tuner and my plans call for a tuner just a wee bit bigger.

The only way to lower my EGT's any more is a downpipe or a turbo upgrade. Turbo is out, too much $$ but we will see what Santa brings as far as the downpipe.:D

Karl said if that box of stuff for yer tranny sat around any longer he was gonna steal it hahahaha

Good to see you got down to buisness Tomtom!

How did you like moving that heavy pig around tom--I am laughing with the thought of pulling that thing on the ground :haha:

Truck was on 24 inch Jackstands under the lowest part of the front frame, rear diff was on the same jackstands and I still had to jack up about another 6 inch to get the trans in and out on the tranny jack. Not too bad though just make sure that the trans is secured to the jack before trying anything.
