You are indeed a lucky boy...could have been much worse at freeway speeds.
(BTW...while your at it you might want to think about a full sized spare.)
im supposed to carry a spare?:redneck:Why would you want a full size spare, the few times I even have a spare its smaller, is a spare, not something to drive me to Florida on.....:;
Of course I do deflate the spare to save weight as well!!:cheer:
better than paying less for junk = Toyota. :haha::fawkdancesmiley:
I like my STOCK rear end. It cost me 130 bucks to build it. Gears and a welder. Nothin else needed. I dont even think a 2WD toyota axle is a wimpy as a d35.:looser:
Hahaha, yeah man....even 2wd Toyota axles are tough....I had one in my hotrod with a 400HP SB.:D
Most Jeep guys don't realize that Toyota axles are about as tough as 9" Fords....
But then, Jeep guys have a hard time with multible syllable words.....:haha:

I wouldn't brag about that. 9" fords are junk too!
Axles.....hell, it says so right where you quoted me......:haha:Stock axle shafts, housings or 3rd members :corn:

The intelligence level around here is mind blowing........

A narrowed junkyard 60 would still be less.

Why would you put a low hanging anchor in a Rig that produces 94hp to the ground. :eeek:
You would if you ran a set of 35's aired down. :;More than enough, I don't see the problem.

HP has nothing to do with it. How much torque to the wheels?
I don't know how much to the wheels the stock 4.0 puts out 235 ft lbs of torque, what it is at the wheels depends on the crawl ratio, but with the rig in qwestion, I would imagine it is pretty stock, and would never break an 8.8 or Dana 44 rear.
So you're gonna tell me that after spending the money on your 60's that you haven't spent another dime on them? If not, you should market them. :awesomework:While an 8.8 and/or a D44 would be an upgrade, the one thing that most folks have learned through the years is that if you're going to spend money on new parts you might as well only do it once.
Would "multiple" be one of those words that give Jeep guys a hard time? :fawkdancesmiley:But then, Jeep guys have a hard time with multible syllable words.....:haha:
I know what axles are...I know what diffs are, people say one thing and refer to another everyday.
Sorry to have bothered you with the clarification efforts.

People say 'engine' when they mean 'motor' and they also say 'motor' when they mean 'engine'.
People say 'engine' when they mean 'motor' and they also say 'motor' when they mean 'engine'.
At what point does it matter anymore?
There's no difference between motor and engine when speaking of a vehicle,
