Many Republicans think that State Parks does a poor job of managing the money we currently give them and feel that giveing them more money will not stop the mismanagement.

Oh I see... so it'd be better to stop giving them money because that will allow us to have recreation? :eeek:

The whole state recreation program is f**d up, but taking away the funding isn't going to fix it. It'll just end up screwing us, the end user even worse.

On the otherhand, if all recreation sites shut down, it would be easier to state why we're taking back Reiter or another location because it'd be in response to the gross mis-management of government. :cheer:

New law goes into effect this summer which does away with dual register...

OK I've seen several people say that ORVs are exempt from the new ORV pass. I've read the bill several times and fail to see where this is true. Can someone point me in the right direction?..:corn:

Definition of a motor vehicle is exempt for orvs ... and only motor vehicles are charged. Thus orvs don't get charged
