will these work ok ? or are they gonna burn up on the first hot run? i got some nylocks with a set of headers for the flanges, they seem like they will burn up and loosen after gettin hot once or twice. should i just switch over to a standard locking washer/ nut? i wanna make sure these lock, with no leaks.

ahh, didnt even think of that. think they will stay locked under the extreme vibrations of constant high RPM's :clappy:

another one to look for is "omnitorq" nuts. Basically a metal version of a nylock.

Not sure if a stover is the same or not.

Yes Travis 99.874% of the all metal locking nuts are crimped or slightly ob-rounded.

The nylock will not work...also MarcW when you are that close to the exhaust valves there is no such thing as a "hot run"...2 minutes into idling the nylon insert will be like butter...

Ask for metal grade 8 locknuts.

Heres what i prefer.
