So a buddy picked up a extremely clean 74 trailduster for dirt cheap that he wants to turn into a mild wheele, he's having trouble finding any axle specs and so on. It is 8 lug. Hoping some of you dodge fans would know more about the running gear? Im guessing a d44 ftont?

most likely 44 front and 60 rear. full time fourwheel drive?

Yeah its 8 lug. Has the full removeable top too. Has a 4 or 6" lift and on 35's. Not as clean as I first thought but pretty good shape. Now has decided to sell it to finance his other 2wd ramcharger air bag system. No wheeling for him.

The traildusters were a dana 44 front but only a 5 lug, in 74 it would have been full time 4X4 with a 5x4.5 bolt pattern the rear would have been a mopar 9.25, but of course that was 40 years ago so it now has what ever somebody has put into it. Just think of the ramchargers/traildusters as a short wheelbase half ton PU, at 106".
