Since I'm going to rear mount my radiator and trans cooler soon, I started thing about the PS cooling system. I'm going to leave it up front to keep it close to the pump and reservoir. This is a full hydro set up.
Looking to run https://derale.com/products/fluid-coolers/transmission/remote-mount2013-10-28-09-53-271226240719/16-pass-electra-cool-remote-cooler-6an-inlets-detail or maybe I might go bigger.

What's a good temp to shoot for? ( I don't have a gauge on the system now, so I have no idea where it is now )

Should I set it up with a thermostat or just let it run?

6AN a good hose size?

Full hydro you want 8AN on return so cooler would need to be in that size. G a plate and fin or stacked plate cooler. That derale is a tube and fin, not the most efficient. I got my plate cooler off fleabay with the fan super cheap and has held up to some abuse.

I run that same cooler with -8 fittings and a fan i made a mount for. steering never gets too hot. I run a PSC DE ram kit.
