Pre pump filter?

I'm wondering what y'all are running as far as a before the pump filter. I want something that pretty much strains the fuel before the pump to keep larger stuff (foam,dirt,lizards) from killing the pump. I have an AC Delco filter after the pump and my whole fuel system uses -6 AN fittings so I want to keep that. Running the same filter before and after would be simple, but I'd like to be able to take the before filter apart on the trail and clean/replace the element if need be.
What's a good micron size? Anyone used something like this

I dont run a pre filter only the factory corvette filter after the pump. Although I dont think around my area they have gas huffing lizard population. :wtflol:

So should be ok.

The bigger lizzards never get out of the tank, so another fuel filter will not help. Mine had a head larger than the 3/8" line. booyang

I went on ebay and found one with -6, anodized blue, unscrews in seconds on the trail to knock the **** out of the screen. Had I not had one, I'd have gone through a walbro gl392 already, not a cheaper one to replace.
