Pro Rock Stock Class XJ Build

It's getting very close, waiting on some steering parts now. New suspension and fuel system are in. Doubt it'll be at the race in 2 weeks, but should have it together and out in the woods soon.

How's about some updates?

Got it all together and entered my first race at windrock. The Jeep did good, had a couple fuel pump issues. I jumped off the oe harness for power and I believe the walboro pumps I put in need heavier gauge wiring and relays. Had to swap power wires between pumps manually. Ran out of time to add a switch on the dash. That's going to get reworked soon. The new steering worked great, Psc delphi box, cbr pump and 8" assist cylinder. 2.25 turn lock/lock and 40* of steering. Will need to swap the front spool to a selectable at some point, it pushes through corners pretty bad. Remade the drag link to get rid of the bind the heims were in at full droop. Added some air bumps to the front that took a beating, will need to reinforce them some more before the next race. Also gutted the interior and added an interior cage around the driver compartment

Thanks for the updates. How'd the race go?

2nd place...or last place since it was only 2 of us. Zaboth got me by about a min or so on a 1.5 hr race. 8.5 mile course, 4 lap race and had to stop on the second and fourth lap with fuel pump issues.

You are racing U4 stock class with your rear shocks mounted through the cab?
