Thanks for the race recap and you got lots of screen time during the 4600 race.Great race! We got to Disney, did some day time and night time prerunning. The next day was qualifying in the morning and the 4600 race in the afternoon. Qualifying was uneventful, I was first off the line and back to camp to prep for the main. I got the truck staged in the back of the pack where we qualified. I worked my way to the start line and 3, 2, 1 go! I got about half way through the course and cut a tire, I drove on the flat for a while till I reached a flat spot to do the tire change. I got the tire changed and was back on course. At some point coming back towards the start/ finish I cut another tire so I rolled into the hot pit for another tire change. Got back on course with a fresh used Craigslist KM2 with no beadlock. Headed into the Little Blue obstacle I rolled the truck on a drop off section. The truck went over on the driver's side, the roof and then settled on the passenger side. U4 recovery got me winched back over and off I went again. Coming back across the river towards the start finish I lost steering. I pulled off and found a missing bolt for the driver's side TIE rod to steering arm, I grabbed a spare from the truck, got it in and headed out again. No other issued till the last lap where I got stuck in the bottom of Little Blue. Once again U4 recovery got me winched out and on my way back to the start/ finish for the checkered flag. Overall a great race at a great location.

Did you have a codriver for this race? What did you think of the course overall?
It looked quite cool between the natural obstacles and the water crossings. Did you stay at Disney or at MAO?No co-drive for this race, Visions or the Sturgis race.
The course was awesome! The terrain and natural obstacles in that area are crazy. The camping and surrounding area was nice, overall a great place for an Ultra4 race. We will definitely be back for this race in 2023.
We camped at Disney. Just a short drive to the race course. It looked quite cool between the natural obstacles and the water crossings. Did you stay at Disney or at MAO?
Many thanks to @ToyotaTom for hooking us up with some Trail Rig Racing swag! Going to hang the number plate in little dudes room cause that’s what every kiddo needs! Thanks again and best of luck with next race season.
Awesome on some new parts partners and that should say “waterproof radios for racing in Oklahoma”You are welcome, anything for the kids lol.
We now have Raceline Wheels and Rugged Radios supporting our race program for the 2023 Ultra4 season. We got some new beadlocks wheels and a new waterproof radio for King of the Hammers.

Tis but a hop, skip, and a jump away for y’all. :rolf:Good luck.Wish i could go.
Looks so good (even with a missing hood and crunched fender)!:rolf:What a race! Launched the truck during pre-running and bent the front axle. We got the truck back together, skipped qualifying and started the race in the back. I flopped the truck in a turn around mile marker 10. Got flipped back over and started working on the truck. The power steering fluid reservoir was cracked and empty. The clutch reservoir was also empty. I got the clutch reservoir refilled and was back on course with no power steering. Around mile marker 35 of 40 the radiator fan stopped working and the engine started over heating. I swapped in the spare fan relay and nothing. I bypassed the relay and gave the fan 12v still nothing. I made the decision to drive the last 5 miles with no fan, finish 1 lap, park the truck back at the trailer and help pit for our buddy racing 4500. Overall a great time with great people.
