The planning board is having a meeting today to read over the wording of the change, Then onto the council.

At this point sometime next month for the council vote :corn:

Part of getting the permit is Reiter road has to be open. That is why this is such a big deal. Even for the temp parking lots

So the permit process closed the parking areas with no problems.

They have started the bid process for getting them done and thats supposed to close the 30th. So if all goes as planned the parking areas will be done mid oct.

Just another step forwards...

I drove up that way yesturday on my way home from Chelan... went thru Index and turned around at the wash out.. Was stoked when I seen the land use sign age up there... Way to go people!!:awesomework:

Educated some people on quads about riding up there to...:awesomework:

As of today all of the single track and quad trails are stationed :cheer: Just a little more to do in the 4x4 area and all of the stationing is done, DNR is still waiting on the D.O.E permit to continue to the next step. But the steps are being climbed slowly. But I see things going foward still. The temp parking lot bids are in and so that will be the first sign of dirt moving on the land. I am sure that there will be some more to do on the trails before we get to do something but none the less progress is progress :awesomework:

So we have done exactly what we have needed to up to this point.

Its now in the hands of the DNR. Permits are in so now we have to play a little waiting game....

But those who have kept up pressure on the DNR please keep doing so.

PT2 contractor is on dite and working on the parking lot
4x4 trail designer is picked and DNR is working to get them going by the 1st of the year
Talked about the opperations of reiter
2 neww E and E people coming on as of the 1st of the year
