S-10 steering box.

Are these the same as the fullsize chevy steering boxes? as in, if I had a 2wd one I could just swap it straight in? I think my box is about toast... and I have a 2wd one out of a suburban sitting at home(had it on the LUV project... The boxes look the same, both mount to the inside of the frame...:eeek: Or should I just TRY IT!!!:redneck:

Any internal differences? Splines on the steering shaft?

2wd sub should mount to the outside of the frame.:eeek: unless its off of a 93-up. dont know what your box is off of, but they are all pretty close, I say run it.

did you ever put an astrovan box on your truck to help with the tierod cross problem?

OH DOH!!!!! you're right, that box does go on the outside of the frame.... Good ol' lisdexia prevails again! :booo: so then i guess i just need to get another s-10 box or rebuild the one i have. I want to do the redneck ram setup and have them erbuild /tap my steering box.
