• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Some assembly required (A Toyota cab truck rebirth)

Put some oil in the shocks it will take care of the body roll. My dads buggy had crazy body roll we added oil and it was gone without a sway bar. Then a light weight sway bar will help handling.

I got her out and played some today!

After the ride today I pulled it back in the shop for some odds and ends, finished up the center console.

Dual 12v outlets with a push reset breaker in the middle, hinge top with lots of storage inside!

Thanks guys! I worked hard in it 8 weeks from start to finish. I knew it was ugly as sin and I wanted a rig to be proud of. I talked to several folks at Shamrock and everyone that came up to me I appreciate your comments as well. That being said I was extremely happy with it and I didn't beat it to hard not wanting to work on it for a bit. I did the 7wt max fill on my shocks and that helped the body roll a ton, however it sacrificed a lot of ride quality. I don't think I need a sway bar but definitely need to put my winch on the front and get a set of longs, pretty sure I will have a solid rig then.

Time for a bump and a upgrade, going away from the carb and putting it fuel injected.

got an old upper and lower sandblasted up at work.

Out with the old!!!

Got the lower stuck in and thought i was going to have clearance issues but it worked out perfectly!!

When the lower is tight it will pull up just enough not to rub.

It's awful snug but I like how it looks and glad I dont have to make any tube changes.

The plan is to cut down a harness and run minimal wires, hope i can run through this pretty quick.

Well this is turning out a little more time consuming than originally planned but I think the juice is worth the squeeze.

I'll com back later and edit this with links on my info origin but for now I'll just post a pic of what I'm working with to cut this harness down and clean a good bit of unwanted wires out of the harness.

What did you do about the three intake studs that need to be relocated
.

I usually double nut the stud and pull it out. I haven payed attention to it yet because I haven't actualyl bolted the intake up, it's just in place to locate my harness and fuel lines right now.

The three studs on the left side of the head need to be drilled and tapped into the head. This is a pain in the ass because there is no flat surface on the head. If you could get the head tigged for more surface and milled it would make this task easier.
