Step drill bits

Who makes a good step drill bit ?
And or step drill bit set?

I use use Greenlee quite a bit at work because that's what we stock. They work good. But honestly the cheapos from HF work pretty good too.

I bought mine at Home Depot or Lowes and they work just fine for what you use them on .

The harbor freight ones really work quite well after you sharpen them with a fine grit sanding pad on a die grinder. Got to not turn them to fast or it will burn them up.

I mostly use Greenlee, just use them on low speed and they'll last years.

My brother got one from his work probably 10 years ago and it's been used a lot. It's probably Lawson brand. But the hf ones do work really well, especially for the price

Spend the extra coin on a Lenox and never buy another one again.
