super high idle on 87 jeep cherokee

Ok so as the title says i put a new iac in it a new intake gasket no vacum leaks anywhere intake it seated and sealed still high idle on startup help please
or this thing is going to the crusher. the catch is it does not do it every time just most of the time

My cherokee does the same thing I just open the hood and shake throttle cable and kick down that usealy works .But last time It would not kick down so I tapped the on the sensor thats onthe firewall right above the intake and it worked so I think that is the problem.good luck..
