Looks awesome man! Are her catch cans vented through the 5/16 air line with remote filter? I've noticed a couple of WOD buggies with that, looks clean.

Yes, the little push to release fittings are nice and easy to maintain. We don't run filters on the end though. I don't see the need personally.

The way the drive pucks engage the shafts on this kit is really trick. Everything went together great. And if anyone is interested, the shaved rear 14 has more clearance than the 60 front. Front was 13.5" on 43s.

I am currently running MW 40 spline axles on my 14 bolt rear axle and wanted to know if they sell just the replacement shaft and how much? pm me is fine...What is the general warranty for these as well? I have not broken one yet, but wouldn't mind having some spares on board.

You will probably get the ring gear before a 40 spline axle. Are you 40 spline on both ends or necked at the spindle.

Gregg,
Yes we can sell you a replacement shaft if needed. I wouldn't spend money on a spare. The failure rate on these shafts is very low. Most are damaged from spindles bending. There is no warranty on off-road shafts. I'd probably be more concerned about your steering front shafts.

PM me if you have any questions.

@wizzo off subject. I'm guessing you sell lots of different name brand parts. Does any of the other big names warranty rear shafts?

In my experience the places the offer "lifetime" or "you break it we replace it" warranties have parts of considerably lesser quality with a large margin built in. Full race quality parts like what Mark Williams offers don't have that type of warranty. They are not for everyone. But that's why competition is a good thing. Lots of options out there for the consumer to make the best decision for themselves/budget/driving style/etc. I wanted the best for this axle and was more concerned about quality than I was about price/warranty.

Only axle shafts I sell are Mark Williams.

CTM, spidertrax, ouverson, all don't offer any sort of warranty either. I mean they all would entertain and mfg defect issue.

The whole time I was reading this I was thinking of the warranty scene in Tommy Boy

Yes, quite a lot more to report on this one. I see the last update in the thread was the rear axle swap. The very next ride Jessica decided to do a back flip on trail 46 at AOP and crunched the entire front end from the A pillar forward. Luckily for us Cody Gregory (the original builder of the chassis) was willing to take on the job. He cut the front end off and basically redid it to better than it was before. It also got a new engine skid and we took the opportunity to replace the piece of **** leaking Griffin radiator which was hard mounted on pucks with a new unit from CBR and cradle mount. Cody did an unreal job with the work and if it wasn't for the lack of matching powder you'd never know it. At some point this buggy will go to @wizzo and get the rebuild treatment he gave mine. After we got the buggy back from Cody we had a few good rides, she got her revenge on 46, and then she stripped a R&P and snapped a 4340 RCV inner. It was the only 4340 we had not upgraded to 300m. I got the buggy torn down in the shop and all the parts I needed lined up and the Easter Tornado of 2020 came through and ripped the roof off my shop. Not ideal! I spent months getting that situation taken care of, it was spring/summer by then so we weren't riding anyway. Come fall 2020 I got back around to buttoning her buggy up and it has been good since then. The only changes left on the slate for this ride is a 40 spline 14 bolt front and freshened up Atlas w/race case. She has a good 3.0 but it's old and still in an old style case. Whenever we decide to send it to Wizzo for the facelift we'll do those mods at that time and she'll be 100% dialed.

was slightly humorous at aop when she kept picking insulation out of her roof riding around.

Couple pics of the night at aop. The pic of her buggy and mine is actually my phone’s wallpaper

Ha, funny you ask. We did some riding in the month of November and had a blast, but if you go back to my thread I mentioned I was about to order some new wheels and tires because I was sick of all the issues I was having out of my Trail Ready's. I placed that order in early December, then sold my tires to a good friend. Wheels were in stock but my tires showed up May 20th  By then I had already put my boat in the water and was in full blown lake mode. I am looking forward to mounting up these SXs on the Method's I ordered. They have a redesigned inner bead that I'm very optimistic about. But I doubt I'll get back into the woods until Octoberish when I pull the boat out for winter.
