This looks like fun. 4x4 edpedition in WA; WABDR.

There's a group of scouts that do a portion of it each summer. They typically do a Oregon portion.....From what I've been told it's just dirt roads an much of it is highway..
 
This is the expedition "trail" that I am interested in running one day.


That's pretty sweet.

My wife and I did Moab to Salt Lake City 90% offroad. We used the old pony express routes and abandoned railroad track beds. I have some phenomenal photos from that trip. We found a crystal clear lake up in the mountains that we had all to ourselves. :awesomework:

I also want to do the Trans Canadian Highway to Alaska someday.
 
My Dad and his buddies did a loop through the Macgruder and around the Frank Church wilderness on their quads, 700+ miles in 11 days, almost all of it on dirt. Would be a cool trip.
