Tj-6

That is badass! I am a huge fan of that!:awesomework:
I wanted to get a cj6 and put cj7 door openings in it for that same kinda look. Awesome fab work. Not too many people have that kind of skill. Looks nice:awesomework:
Can't wait to see the finshed product:corn:

Some fun in the snow

Shots from Moab. Sorry it took me so long to post, I have been really really busy with the fenders.

Started up the cage upgrades. Used some PSC parts and 1.75x.120 DOM. It is all just tacked in at this point. I still have to beef up the rear before pulling and painting the cage. I do not have a bender or notcher but I am happy so far.

The pinch weld was pulling apart from being flexed by the tire carrier pushing in as the tire would hit the ground on hill climes. I welded up the seam at the edge of the tail gate and then made a bracket to tie the PSC corner into the wheel well after the pinch welds. I will be making a new tire carrier very soon. I buttered (like laying tile) the brackets with seam sealer to help prevent corrosion.

Mock up tire location.

Used all the old parts off the old.

Built a landing pad for the wheel. I can now set the wheel on it, and then spin it until the studs line up.

Still need to add CB antenna mount, back up lights, and some gussets, but for now it will come off and I will work on paint prep.

Very cool build, I love seeing things done that are out of the ordinary. How is the ride and stability compared to before?

Thanks, this seems like a cool local group of wheelers over here. I have been building the jeep up for about 1
