tranny cooler placement in smith buggy

Kind of ran out room for a tranny cooler in my smith buggy. Where are you guys mounting them? I have the big griffin with spal fan and everywhere I place it looks retarded. Thanks

Mines on top of the fuel tank... there's not much room anywhere else

I had a griffin I was going to use but it was just way to massive for the spaces I had left so, I traded it for a new derale and mounted it under the seat and the other cooler under the other seat. Those griffins are just huge.

Kinda hard to see in the pic so I tried to blow it up. Mine are the Derale units and they are right beside radiator and behind each seat. I can get better pics if you want. These are from the original build.

Ok so I lied mine are actually Hayden after looking but here they are. Bought them from Advanced Auto with the 50%. LOL

For what its worth I have the exact same for steering cooler mounted on the other side.

Mine are the 8 pass derale, one for the power steering amped one for the tranny and yes they seem to do the trick.

No prob as far as I can tell. Steering orbital is right at steering wheel and its always relatively cool.
